Sensor Liquid Soap Dispenser

DIY Hand Sanitizer to Fill in Your Automatic Soap Dispenser

You did the smartest thing by buying an automatic soap dispenser in this Covid-19 pandemic, pat yourself on the back for that. You can place the Commercial Automatic Hand Soap Dispenser out on the porch and fill it Purell so that everyone sanitizes before they enter the house. Just by doing this, you will be raising the chances of you and your family not getting infected significantly. You’re safe for the time being. But just as how when the Hydra’s head is severed, it spawns two new heads, similarly, you might think you’re in the clear but some problem is going to rear its head any second now.

Dang! You’ve run out of Purell (called it). Well, everybody has. When sanitizer gels are nowhere to be found,  there is no other way but to make your own. Also, you might already have these things lying around the house. You can set up that sanitizing defence force field using a Sensor Liquid Soap Dispenser around your house again.

Are you still in the market for an Automatic Hand Wash Dispenser and are looking to buy one? The Cistoca soap dispenser by Cytari is the best in its class. The Cisctoca is an automatic soap dispenser that dispenses soap without using human touch. It operates on contactless technology and has a touch-free operation system that ensures your family’s safety. You can buy it here.

How to Make Easy Diy Hand Sanitizer to Fill in Your Automatic Soap Dispenser

For your hand sanitizer to kill Covid, it should be pretty potent. Above 75% to be precise. You will need strong alcohol and your regular vodka and whiskey won’t cut it, they’re too weak. It’s best to get a bottle of 99% isopropyl alcohol. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says sanitizers should be at least 60 percent alcohol for them to be effective, so, let’s aim for at least 75%.

The quickest way to make a concentrated sanitizer is to mix 3 parts of Isopropyl alcohol to 1 part aloe vera gel. You can find isopropyl alcohol at your local drugstore and you can also pick up aloe vera gel and some tea tree oil while you’re there. Adding a few drops of tea tree oil to this concoction will give it a refreshing scent. When your sanitizer is ready, you can fill it in your automatic soap dispenser and leave it on the porch for everybody to use.

Heads Up: The aloe will leave your hands a little sticky after sanitizing with the aforementioned sanitizer.

How to Make Diy Hand Sanitizer to Fill in Your Automatic Soap Dispenser- the Professional Way

If you want to go full pro while creating your own hand sanitizer, you will need a couple of things that might not be lying around your house (unless you’re a chemist) and you’ll have to do a grocery run for them but it’s worth it as this recipe has been given out by the WHO, so you can depend on it. The things that you’ll need are-

  • Isopropyl alcohol
  • Glycerin or glycerol
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Distilled water
  • Automatic soap dispenser

Start by mixing 12 ounces of isopropyl alcohol with 2 teaspoons of glycerin. Glycerin is an important component and is used in beauty rituals all over the world, it will keep the alcohol from drying out your hands. If you fail to find glycerol or glycerin anywhere, you can ditch it and continue with the recipe but just remember to apply a decent amount of moisturizer on your hands after sanitizing them. A pretty good hack for this is to buy two Automatic Sensor Liquid Soap Dispensers and fill one with the sanitizer and the other one with a moisturizer and place them out on the porch.

Mix 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide into the concoction and then 3 ounces of distilled water. If you’re using alcohol which is weaker than 99% then remember to put in a lot less water. Your final concoction should be at least ¾ alcohol.

Fill the solution in your Commercial Liquid Soap Dispenser and let it rest overnight. You can also add a hint of any essential oil to your solution at this point to make it smell even better.

And with that you’re done, you and your Battery Operated Hand Soap Dispenser are ready to protect the whole household from diseases and bacterias.

If you still don’t have an automatic soap dispenser in your arsenal against your battle with the coronavirus then you should consider buying one. The Cistoca soap dispenser by Cytari can be your Tommy gun, it looks just as cool while killing Covid. You can buy it here.
